Strangely enough, I came across the name of this very town whilst looking at maps of WA (where we live) with my dear old dad the other day.. he has dementia and loves reminiscing about his days working up north and out in the Goldfields back in the 60's/70's for Theiss..its been so stinking hot this Summer so he loves to remind us of what heat really feels like ..how they worked in those conditions back them humbles me....I remember it because neither of us had ever heard of it before...and for him that was rare.now that I know its a ghost town it makes sense...
