LittleDucky52, I remember this TV show also - was a favorite of my maternal Grandparents. They had a small farm in the hill country of Missouri Ozarks & their old TV set got such poor reception they could only get a few shows well enough to watch & Death Valley Days was one of them.

FYI: in the UK and EU, you can no longer buy borax. In 2010 the EU reclassified the 'Borate' group of chemicals that Borax belongs to, as potentially hazardous to health, so it is no longer available as a cleaning and laundry product. Instead, you can only buy a “Borax Substitute".
