AstonishingTuba62944, we use animal byproducts in medicines. (Look up the meaning behind the drug ‘Premarin’ for example.) Dunno if actual animals are used in any North American medications or not, but my Dad received a heart valve from an animal (Pig, I think…) when his own valve stopped functioning….
