Native Chinese here, watched Disney's Alice in wonderland on tv at the age of 8, and I found it really funny reading the question as well as some of the comments. Before saying other people are brain washed, maybe it's wise to check the facts at first. Don't let the “fake news” ruin your own judgement.

AstonishingTuba62944, we use animal byproducts in medicines. (Look up the meaning behind the drug ‘Premarin’ for example.) Dunno if actual animals are used in any North American medications or not, but my Dad received a heart valve from an animal (Pig, I think…) when his own valve stopped functioning….
