Fantastic movie! Especially for the time it came out as well as accurate portrayal of the conditions in the camps at the time. They consulted actual vets (both Drs. and Nurses) who were there. The TV show was a massive hit and it's farewell show was unprecedented in the annals of TV history.

This war movie should have been Best Film of 1970. Instead, it lost to a more traditional war movie, Patton. The Academy blew it again! Did Patton inspire a TV show? C'mon! Idiots!
