Omg how I love the art of pargeting, we don’t see it enough nowadays. In fact sadly a lot of the old craft/skills are not being implemented anymore. I feel it’s a great loss, I watched a show called ‘to the manor reborn’ where they were rejuvenating an old run down manor & for some of the features that required specialists they had a hard time finding the skilled knowledgable persons to undertake the work, in one case sadly I do believe the man was the last of his skill in the whole of England. I loved it was a great series worth a look there’s an episode or two on YouTube.

it has a different name in Australia, not known as far as I'm aware by this term..

Never heard of this profession before, probably because the art is dying out as are so many older skills which is a shame
