A 1962 mini van. £400, as there was no purchase tax to pay. I learnt to drive in it and could park it on a pin head. Such fun

my first car was a mini and 30 years later I have a new one. The most fun you can have behind the wheel!

We had a wee black one way back in the late seventies. I remember us going down the motorway to Reading festival once, and lorries zooming by us with wheels which seemed on a level with the roof of our mini😄 My daughter has a mini cooper sport which is about twice the size ours was. Still a great car though.

SloaneRanger2019, my mini was an extension of myself! I was a "mod" back in the 80's...minus a d mopeds were a big part of the mod subculture. Mine was white, with 2 black stripes. Whiteseats. I'm tiny and it was tiny.Only car I've actually loved ❤️

This was the very first car my father owned. I still have fond memories of us all piling into it for days out!
