I grew up in Brantford, Ontario, Canada where the Gretzkys are from. His father Walter absolutely loved to talk to people and was always giving advice. My brother, being a hockey player under 10 one time when we saw him at the dentist, Walter told him you can't score if you don't shoot the puck. Technically this advice is from Walter Gretzky. All fun aside, good advice no matter who says it

I remember watching Gretzky playing and it appeared as if the other players were just standing still as he skated circles around them.

best way to describe Gretzky on ice...he knew next players move and they did know his next move. like chess you will win if you have the same strategy.
