Wilmington is the largest and most populous city in which U.S. State?

Tdog119, - Born & raised in Oklahoma, learning about the Eastern States such as Delaware wasn't part of my culture. It's a shame & a pity that I never tried to explore the rich & colorful history of Delaware. I'm 64 years young & only recently developed an interest in the states that started our country & faught the war that created it. Much praise to Delaware & the other 13 colonies for which we should be thankful.

Delaware was the first state to become a state in the U.S. Also George Washington came across the Delaware river. Just food for thought 😊☺👌

The Delaware River starts in upper NY, comes down between PA & NJ, and flows into the Delaware Bay which is ... YEP! Right by the State of Delaware! MAPS are a great thing to look at once in awhile !!!!

[bobbo16], Very true! I lived in Delaware from 1988-2001 & BTW WASHINGTON did cross Delaware river, but, in PENNSYLVANIA

FamousDefender7835, Thank you for clarifying that. Was raised in the West. I've only been to NY NJ & Mass. Would like to see more of the eastern states. My parents came from Boston, Mass.

New Castle County born and raised. As we say... "Wilmington, all the big city problems. None of the big city charm." Rest of the county, and state is beautiful.
