Wish someone would paint a picture showing me the purpose of ShowExit and OpenMap points
Number1grammy2019
Player #3833664, Same here, I never use them

the Salvador Dali museum in St Petersburg Fl was magnificent

I agree about purpose of OpenMap, ShowExit. They require a lot of coins, but have absolutely no purpose. YEAH RIGHT, like I'm going to waste coins like that. Not so much!

Player #3833664, I agree. can't work out what use they are. Also, the tips that appear at the beginning of each round disappear before I can read them!
MoGo
Player #3833664, I believe Open Map let's you be strategic in choosing categories you are best at first, gaining you more helps to use for the catagories you might be weaker at. Show Exit allows you to end a level if it's not going so well (better to leave early than dig yourself in further).
Hans of the USA
For those players who question the use of the OpenMap point, I can only provide my standpoint. Having a relatively mild form of OCD, I open the map to see where the Exit is and answer the questions farthest from there; answering question as I work to get closer.
Gary
Dali was the only surrealist listed.

Player #3833664, I agree, total waste of time. Maybe they will revise game in future but so far very enjoyable game, none the less.
Player #62752956
Player #3833664, Show Exit: when you find the Exit and click on it, it tells you there are more questions left, do you want to continue? After you donated the questions are worth more. But then again, I have no idea what to do with my “points” except compare mine to yours.
Player #62752956
Player Suze Eckert, yeah, save your coins and you can retire on them someday 🤣
Sweargen
open exit, is it surreal because its not closed ?.
Deborah
Player #3833664, If you don't like them, then don't use them. I use them to challenge myself to mapping out a route with smooth transitions between tiles and as few hops across the board as possible to the exit. I just wish people would stop belly-aching about this. They aren't hurting you.
jowan
MoGo, ok well. i just like to know the answers. so i always answer everything anyway

Player #2359729, I got engaged at the Dali museum in Fla.
Player Jake5.2
Player #3833664, 'ShowExit' reveals the exit square so that you can go directly to it by the quickest route. You can complete the level faster, if you choose, knowing the way out.
'OpenMap' reveals all of the tiles. Now you can exit quickly, or answer the easy questions to get extra coins or bonuses.
That's my interpretation at least.
I use OpenMap every time, and then answer all the questions anyway. Lol!
Player #2512936
Player #3833664, The Open map Turns all Tiles around.

Player #3833664, It's another surreal concept; The Perception of Benefit.
