cherries are excellent for gout. also its important to not eat certain acidic foods. tomatoes are really bad for any kind of arthritis.

Too many google experts these days, I think people should ask people who actually have gout and what works for them. Everyone says cherries, because google says cherries. The best thing for me was figs, cherries did nothing. With gout it is important that you actually ask sufferers.

Playerless, allopurinol will affect the liver so it's better to just stay away from foods rich in purines which causes uric acid buildup

This horrible affliction runs in my family. High Uric acid is the main culprit. The army tried to discharge my brother from the Army for malingering when he couldn't march. A full bird Colonel was pushing it until a captain at the troop clinic made a proper diagnosis. It hit me in my 30's and I eat well and avoid alcohol.
