I had the great privilege of meeting Vincent Price in 1980 when he was touring the USA performing his one man stage act as Oscar Wilde titled "Diversions & Delights." He was amazing and I also paid to attend a reception for him after the play and got a photo with him & autograph. He was very gracious and had a marvelous sense of humor. One thing surprised me was a lady there asked if she could kiss him and he said 'Yes,' and there quickly formed a line of other women asking for a kiss, which he did not seem at all bothered by 😁

Gary, I'm a big fan as well. I really loved the Dr. Phibes' series, but I think it was watching the movie The Tingler (which was a "B" movie) as a kid that won me over. He could even play comedic roles (especially with Peter Lorre), but I appreciated him more working in the macabre genre.
