One of the few cities without a convict history. That’s interesting. I will get there someday and take The Ghan train from Adelaide to Darwin!

love Adelaide and SA, lovely people, stunning beach at Carrickalinga, amazing cafes around, German town with German foods, arab district with the best kebabs and chargrilled meat, best Italian bakeries, huge selection of apples, cherry farms, amazing butcher shops and fantastic Adelaide Central Market just to name a few.

Just visiting Adelaide on business. Walked around Adelaide Oval early this morning and saw the William Light statue. Read this quiz question straight after. Very coincidental.

Gary-Melb Aust, why are you there if you hate it so much? lived in Melbourne and thought it was the a*hole of Australia. weather cold and people even colder and unfriendly. if you were not from mekb, looked down there noses at you. best thing was we moved to qld. sooo much better weather and friendlier people.
