Scottish Fraulein, she didn’t invent the “race card” game! Or the obstacles it has create for people of color. However when one overcomes, and succeeds such an Awesome accomplishment as Miss Rudolph, it cannot go unnoticed or mentioned. This is an historical feat of perseverance and determination! And should always be remembered, despite the ignorance of racial discrimination.

As a teenager she had a child after her 1st Olympics. Since her coach had a no-mother rule she wasn't allowed to compete in another Olympics but he made an exception for her as long as she gave her daughter to one of her sisters to raise. She did but after a few months she and the baby's father traveled and "kidnapped" the baby, bringing her back to Tennessee for Wilma's mother to raise to be closer to her.
