How long did the Anglo-Zanzibar War, the shortest war in history, last?
Correct answer: ~45 minutes
SQinfoNUTS
this is promising. All wars should be less than 45 minutes.
Leapfoot
All conflict should be sorted out so quickly. Unfortunately cannot be.

The British had the upper hand with superior power, always in their own interests of course.

Yes, it's "good" that the war was so short, but just a reminder, it was short because a COLONIZING country shot down a government that were "disloyal" to them. I imagine this set up years of struggle in the future.
caliro
Too bad more wars can't be this short!

big Milt, Colonisers stopping colonisers (Arabs aren't Africans) from slaving. The Royal Navy was enforcing anti-slavery in East Africa.

May, Oh my Dear, of course it's STEALING but they have wonderful euphemisms for that.
Sadly throughout history, Black, Brown, Asian (ALL Asians), have had to subjugate themselves to the White man. Or endure EXTREME consequences. And if said Black, Brown, or Asian land had valuable natural resources that the white man wanted...

Jairo, innocent people have pretty much always died during wars. They are called the casualties of war unfortunately. Sad but true.
Rupert
SQinfoNUTS, once nuclear weapons are commonly used, then wars will be less than 45 minutes😂😢
Thor
The British were so pompous.
