Read an interesting book recently called "Blood Will Tell: A Medical Explanation of the Tyranny of Henry VIII." It proposes, with good evidence, that the miscarriages suffered by Anne Boleyn can be blamed on RH incompatibility. Author is Kyra Cornelius Kramer.

nurseynan, Lovely boo9 but extremely romanticized. interesting they may be. Historically accurate..? Hmmm...not entirely, no...

mammy1027, I hardly think it's sad. On the contrary, she is arguably the most dynamic and successful British female monarch we have ever had. She survived plots against her, neatly avoided being married off and having a Consort to be her superior, successfully avoided being killed by her older sister and her reign was referred to as 'The Golden Age'. Amazing, talented, multilingual and very intelligent. Sad? No..!
