Australia the continent includes Papua New Guinea, which has 14 active volcanoes.
a side note, New Zealand doesn't belong to the Australia continent and belongs to a microcontinent called Zealandia. To talk about most of Australia, New Zealand and neighbouring island countries, you can say the continent Oceania, although this doesn't seem to be as official as the continent of Australia
