That movie was very eye opening for me. I was shocked by everything some of what the Vietnam veterans went though and some are still are going through a lot even today. Those young soldiers gave everything for what they felt was their duty to their country.

Yes, we treated Vietnam veterans very badly. We had young men go to fight a war that most did not want to do. And imagine they came home to be spit on. I'm glad to see that we are treating veterans better today.

happydoghappycat, yes, the ones that did come home were tormented with firecrackers, and intentional LOUD noises. My brother was one of those tormented.
