I remember my dad driving me down the coast line from Newfoundland to So Carolina
each summer. We would stop at lobster pots along the highway and choose our own. It was cooked right there and served with melted butter and cornbread.. saltines if you were so unAmerican that you didn't like cornbread. good old days when the inspector didn't come

if you have the chance- please go to "Bar Harbor, Acadia national park, MDI" ..grew up on the Jersey shore, live in Dallas but every year go there bc it is Literally the best place I've ever been, period. ♡

My cousin and I vacationed there for 2 weeks in 2017. We toured the entire coast. So beautiful. We took the Amtrak train from Portland, OR to Portland, ME to get there. quite a vacation! If the winters weren't so harsh I'd consider moving to Maine.
