My dad loved it in a fried SPAM sandwich with cheese on toast. I didn't like it as,a kid, but recently someone was making it so I asked for a sandwich to honor my dad. He's been gone for 30 years now and I miss him. Anyway, I tried the SPAM sandwich and,was shock to find that I liked it!! It was a nice memory and a surprisingly good sandwich!

Diver Dan, was invented as a way of using the excess meat on the bones in The Butchery Department the company ran a contest to come up with a way of using extra bits of meat that was left on the bone wish they considered a waste I think the employee got like $100 bonus for coming up with a way of canning that extra meat that they got off of the bones made the company millions of millions. also very popular during the wars because it was a way they could ship meet and get protein to the Troops that were in the trenches are hard to reach places without the meat spoiling

We grew up eating spam. My granddaughter wanted to try it. She didn’t like it because it was salty. It’s more salty now than back in days. I love my fried with cheese and mustard.
