I have binocular diplopia resulting from retinal detachment and other eye problems. In my case it is like going to a 3D movie but without the 3D goggles

I have trouble from time to time getting my eyes to fucus on small objects, like words and letters. its like my eyes will physically twitch. Multiple sclerosis can certainly take a toll on a body in ways you dont quite expect.

MortMeek52, I'm sorry. It must be difficult learning to live with that... and scary. Hang in there! Saying a prayer for you 🙏.

MortMeek52, I had double vision due to a very rare condition called One and a Half Syndrome. It was nothing short of horrific. My Neuro-ophthalmologist prescribed me Carbamazepine (sometimes called Tegretol) 300mg twice a day and barring some residual 'dizziness' at times, it's gone. If your doctor hasn't tried this for you, maybe you could mention it and it could help? I'd hate for you to be suffering that when this could potentially help you.
