The temperature goes up about an another 6 to 8 degrees centigrade these summers at least, and it large enough to be under both drought and flood conditions at the same time. Glad other countries have larger and even more severe conditions

As you can see from the photo the soil contains a lot of iron oxide. What you can't see is how fine it is, gets into everything.
Hot, dry and dusty... but a beautiful place to visit.
