I was born & raised in Naples, FL. and saw a lot of land turn to concrete. A 10 minute drive would turn into a 30 minute drive during season. It does rain a lot in winter and us natives call it Florida snow. I think it's brought on by all the snowbirds coming here.

we went to Florida last year and I couldn't believe the weather! it poured every afternoon, like a crazy storm, and then cleared up almost immediately. the parks closed the rides if there was lightning too close.
