I had a lot of gastritis when i was younger because I kept on not eating on time, and then i would drink a fizzy drink or cold water. It felt like I was gonna die, I was already vomitting the green stuff from my stomach because I already threw up all of the food I ate. It won't stop unless I took antacids. Really terrible.

never take meds on an empty stomach .Always have a glass of water before meals .Dont go too long without eating.Dont have spicy food .

Gene Felix, I was taking NSAIDs like crazy when I fell and cracked my tailbone. Ended up with Gastritis and stomach ulcers. My doctor prescribed Lansoprazole, OTC acid reducer and it helps a lot.
