My favorite story about him was told by Michael Caine. He said he and Cary were hanging out in LA once, and this woman came up screaming. Naturally Michael thought it was for Cary so he was up to step aside when the woman screamed out “OMG Michael Caine.” After being nice to the young woman the woman turned to Cary and said “Pardon me sir I didn’t mean to interrupt, but you don’t meet a movie star like Michael Caine everyday walking around. “. To which Cary replied “No You Don’t “. The woman promptly left them without recognizing who she had just talked to.

L O R I E, He claimed that the 100 acid trips he experienced in therapy saved him and changed his life. Timothy Leary said that reading Grant's account of his LSD experience got him interested in it. A shame that fear, ignorance and misguided legislation put a stop to legitimate research into LSD as a therapy tool. Only recently have the benefits of psychedelic drug therapy for PTSD among other mental issues begun to, once again, be explored scientifically.
