In terms of true vertical depth, what is the deepest borehole in the world?

holy cow they drill that deep for oil Wells?!? I had no idea. I'm having trouble even imagining this bore hole. And the majority answer let me down ☹️. I went with it and got it wrong. It said San Andreas. I didn't think that was right but have so little knowledge in this area I trusted it. Dang it.
