Loved the original, especially the chariot race. Considering cgi was not available back then they did an awesome job! My children loved this movie which surprised me considering all the special effects that are used in just about all movies. I didn't watch the newest version till years after it was made thinking it would be horrible. It was decent, glad I watched it.
