Which religion celebrates the Vesak Festival?

Vesak is traditionally celebrated in order to commemorate the three most significant events of the Buddha's life. The reason they are all held on one day, is because the participating countries probably have many other days of significance to celebrate, and secondly, every full moon each month, is a time for reflection, study, meditation and fasting.
