It looks like something that creepy kid(portrayed magnificently by a young Billy Mumy), from the Twilight Zone episode, “It’s a Good Life”, would make up. That show really spooked me out as a child…….but I’m okay with it now. I wonder what Bill Mumy is up to now. I hope he’s well.

platypus aren't the only mammals laying eggs, 4 species of echidna do that as well.
