Which museum is in the picture?

lily 21, I was surprised and delighted to find that one could go down steps below the museum and walk around the original castle walls.

Would love to go there someday.

It never ceases to puzzle me that we humans are sensitive & insightful to the extent that we dedicate so much of our attention to the arts & culture. Yet, at the same time, we make war & destroy each other. I just don't get it.

One of the greatest Joy's of my life was visiting the Louvre! it has so many wonderful things to see!

My partner took me to Paris for my 40th and we ran about like mad to try to visit as many places as possible. The city was magical and The Louvre was just stunning - would have been better without the modern, glass monstrosity which totally ruins the beauty of the place.
