Oh what a cute image I wonder what they are I can kinda guess but not sure. On another note a good old sleep is a great idea in the warmer countries during the summer time, I’ve often wondered how many poor people died in the colonial days when people from the UK moved to Australia as pioneers setting up a new life but taking their customs with them. Oh man, it gets hot in summer with barely any clothing on let alone woollens with undergarments galore. I’m sure many died from heat exhaustion poor dears. People still do yep be aware of the suns damage & heat stroke signs you can get it just by evaporation so don’t forget to stay hydrated.

I just watched a TV show that demonstrated how a toad comes up out of mud in the rainy season to lay her eggs, after havind spent the hot summer months buried under the dirt to survive. Aestivation. Wow. Nature never fails to amaze.

* Seshati *, the picture is of a doormouse, native to the UK. Its immortalised in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland (or is it Alice through the looking glass?) in the Mad Hatters Tea Party

As an Australian I absolutely loathe Summer ...hibernation I'm all for it ...in winter I flourish and rarely use any heating i thrive in the cold ❄

Player #35009238, it's also mentioned in a Jefferson Airplane song and for the life of me I can't think of it right now(the name) but the line is just remember what the Doormouse said...Feed your Head".
