Gary, I was in the middle school office, picking up some flyers and overheard the secretary say, the president been shot. Did not realize till I got back to class, she meant the president of the USA!! OMG, early dismissal, 3-4 days of only tragedy and grief, an everlasting memory of sorrow, glued to the TV, I was 12. Camelot was gone, forever!

They look so happy and content, which is good especially for JFK. For Jackie it's good that they had an enjoyable moment before the horrific moments took place. I'm glad to see that picture. I never thought before what was taking place before he was shot. I was in 4th grade, only 8 years old. We were all sent home. it was a very sad time.
