I have suffered with chronic arthritis pain for the last 7 years. Trouble is, with all the bad press & publicity about opioid pain med's, it's nearly impossible to get the medication I truly need. Dr.'s are paranoid about prescribing effective levels of pain relief.

I have severe osteoarthritis in hands and thru out my body, recently right thumb is locking up on me plus I feel a lump on inside below thumb, painfully I get thru each day, taking longer now then ever before... frustrating/almost debilitating.

I'm 62 and have osteoarthritis in pretty much all of my joints. My late father had it around his heart from what his dr said. I didn't know arthritis is a rheumatic disease. I had rheumatic fever as a child. Wonder if that was related to arthritis? Anyone know?

58 and I just had a total hip replacement in my right hip. Now I need a knee replacement on the same leg. I have severe hearing loss and wear hearing aids on account of arthritis. If it gets worse I'll need a cochlear implant in both ears. I'll soon be the bionic woman.
