l take my photo tours to Rottnest Island regularly. Quokkas are amazing to photograph as they look like they smile for the photo. l have never seen them try and climb trees. They will fight for food or territory. People try and feed them all sorts of food which leads to them getting sick and dying. If you ever visit please do not be tempted to feed them.
