We have a Faraday Road here in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria. People almost always assume it is named after Micheal Faraday, the scientist who invented the famous Faraday Cage, when it is actually named after Micheal Faraday Snr, his father, who was born in the town, and very proud we are of that fact.
