When was Futurism founded?

Look up Jacques Fresco. He was a lifelong friend of mine and he made it to 101. Sadly, he died 2 years ago but he was an incredibly talented futurist.

I thought Futurama started in about 1999. Oh wait, let me read that question again 😂
