lily 21, when cadbury got taken over while ago by American company the Americans tried to change the chocolate to more of an American blend rather than the famous great traditional English cadbury choc. it wasn't a success and they went back to original cadbury mix

Peter Montgomery, They may have reverted but they still changed the recipe from the original. It no longer has that old Cadbury taste. Many (thousands) have complained about it.

Peter Montgomery, I visited Cadbury World with my family and it was excellent. One slight disappointment was that I didn’t see any Oompa Loompas and when I asked they claimed they didn’t have any. Everyone knows you can’t make good chocolate without Oompa Loompas

Player #4263904, I was also told in the Tasmanian factory that the Australian version has a more caramel flavour to the choclate than the original english recipe . Here in Australia we have a huge selection of Cadbury blocks, even more than the UK
