When I was 12, I went to visit our country's capital. along the route, I met up with 3 huge black Newfoundlands. They were so big, yet gentle and lovable, and amazingly bright with heavy, oily coats to keep their bodies warm in chilly seas. That is why they are used by the Coast Guard in rescuing people at sea in sinking ships. Remarkable creatures.
