As a child living in Italy, a little old lady called "La Befana" would deliver gifts on the eve of Epiphany (6th January). Epiphany is when the Magi arrived with their gifts for the Christ child.

ace, I think you are correct. The Bible tells us that shepherds were watching their sheep by night at the time of Jesus' birth. It is highly unlikely that they would have their animals out in pastures during cold wintry nights.

Santa is real y'all! I know because he's my uncle & lives in Texas! 😁🤣 J/k but only about 'Santa' being real. My uncle in TX does have a Santa Claus business (even grows his hair & beard out for it) & has plenty of bookings around the holidays. Really wish there was a way to attach a pic so y'all could see him. His resemblance is truly uncanny!

See, now everybody knows the man with white beard and red suit. Of course, Saint Nicholas was not anything like that. And he didn't had a bunch of Elvs to help him with the toys. My theory that this "white bearded man with red suit" was actually invented by Coca cola (just my theory)
