Which of these is a mass military formation of Ancient Greek warfare?

The phalanx was not a military formation created by the Hellenes (later called Greek…) but it was an ancient Macedonian strategy. Remember that the Hellenes back in their time repeatedly underlined the distinction between the ancient Macedonian and themselves.

Phalanx (pl. phalanges) is also the medical term for finger and toe bones.
