Which insect is in the picture?

peter kilmartin, I understand the adult form is called a silkworm moth. Having taught elementary school for 15 years and lived in a city with thousands of mulberry trees, I had a crop of silkworm caterpillars and moths for many years. I'd know them anywhere.

Got this wrong, it doesn’t look like a worm!
