We will probably never see, such stars like Danny Thomas or Jerry Lewis, who gave so much time and energy to use their popularity to help sick children. Notice no one took over the telethon for Jerry Lewis. St. Jude is still independently functioning and providing free care, due to Marlo Thomas. Today's stars do almost nothing for free. They often seem incredibly narcissistic and unlike the stars of the past, they have forgotten where most of them have originally came from.

Yes Marlo Thomas carries on the legacy of the St. jude hospital. She also had her own TV show, "That Girl" It was a nice, wholesome show that was on tv in the late 60s/70s. Her fashion showed the differences in styles.

Long after he stopped physically acting, he did the USOs until he died!
