I used to love electrical storms growing up in New Jersey. Northern California rarely had them. Then I moved to Florida. OMG, the storms here are wicked. Lightening bolts occur so much, I don't go out in them, not even drive. Florida is the lightening capital of the nation because there are no mountains, or even hills to break up the landscape & bolts of lightening have nothing to hit but flat land and people walking around. Very scary here!
