I picked ER because of the green tiled rooms that looked authentic. I think it was and the best medical drama show on tv. No matter who left the show their replacements stepped right in the flow. I love watching the reruns.

I worked in several ERs in my career.. the show was uber realistic in terms of everything but the timeline.. which was sped up about 100x.. thankfully as no one would care to see all the WAITING that takes place in a real emergency room..

not entirely true. I was working as a resident at the VA in Los Angeles area and Greys Anatomy was filmed at one if the VA hospitals. I was an extra in the background of 1 episode.
