Which of these Stone Age periods happened first?
Correct answer: Paleolithic
That Cøunt, Ray Bumpkin
Dorania, good spot. I think they've taken the explanation from a child's school project. The range should have been approx 3 million years ago for the start of the palaeolithic, until about 3,000 BCE for the end of the neolithic. There's a sizeable range with those figures when you read elsewhere.
What I find interesting is that the Great Pyramid of Giza was built around 2500 BCE, i.e very soon after the end of the neolithic.

3.4 million years, from 30 000 BCE to 3 000 BCE? The math is not right.
I am not a number.
Dorania & 470 CAPSTICK, Even with a range of 3,000,000 BCE until 3,000 BCE the mathematic doesn't make 3.4 million years.
