I think Berlin is the only city in the world which hosts two zoological gardens. This is because Berlin used to be divided in two before 1989, each part having its own zoo ... after the reunification , both gardens remained open to the public ... and they are both amazing.

Sandy I spent the summer of 1959 at age 11 with my (Oma) grandma we went there often with the family. After all these years I remember the zoo and it was really nice.
