My husband, who was a tour guide in Prague for a few years, just explained to me the meaning of this sculpture. Freud had learnt that he was terminally ill, but he was also afraid of dying. So he asked a friend of his to inject a big dose of morphine in him so he could go peacefully. Hence the hand in the pocket.

I think that's great.
