One of the best movies James Dean made. But actually loved him more in East of Eden. What a gifted actor. After Giant he was going to star in “Somebody up there likes me”, but he tragically died in the Porsche Spyder. September 30,1955. He was only 24 years old. May you Rest In Peace sweet prince.

The movie “Giant” was also one of the first of its kind to outline prejudices against Mexican Americans. It also showed Sal Mineo as a young WWII soldier going off to war, which was a first for an Hispanic actor.

Daybonn, He was NOT a Hispanic actor. his father was from Sicily and his Mom was Italian as well.
