It's a long movie but loaded with great performances. Dean was stellar. Definitely worth watching.

The movie “Giant” was also one of the first of its kind to outline prejudices against Mexican Americans. It also showed Sal Mineo as a young WWII soldier going off to war, which was a first for an Hispanic actor.
