Rastafarian ideology somehow holds Selassie as a messiah figure. The theology is tortured, conflicted and without linear logic. However, Rastafarian religion, culture and ethos is far more coherent than Scientology- a cult born out of the feverish imaginings of an unsuccessful Science-fiction author.
