On my bucket list. Been to Sturgis, and if you go, don't miss driving the loop out to Deadwood and around through Sycamore Canyon. Go slow, take it all in. Last time we stopped for half an hour, watching a family of mountain goats teaching their kid how to forage on the steep incline above the road. Breathtaking. Unforgetable.

I have never been to that bike week. I live in Daytona Beach, FLORIDA. I know bike week here. Sturge's is suppose to be twice as big.

I was there in 1981. I was 24 then. Best ten days of my life! Met people from all over the country. Went to a historic town called Lead. They dressed up in costumes from back in the early 1800's. Very cool. Also went to Keystone to see Mt. Rushmore. Was amazing !

there is a small town here in mississippi named sturgis. they have a rally too. think I read somewhere that there is now a sturgis in every state.

It's really a BLAST to behold. Lots of things to do, lots of people, lots of COOL motorcycles. But, If you go? Take lots of $$$, you'll need it...
