How many states in the United States of America have sand dunes?

The states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah Washington, and Wyoming... Nebraska is listed as a lost dune site...

figured it had to be the highest number there are sand dunes a few miles from my house in Washington State (eastern side is arid shrub-steppe)

What about the entire coast line of Long Island NY which boarders the Atlantic Ocean from NYC to Montauk NY a span of approximately 90 miles… plenty of dunes… some of the nicest ocean beaches— with dunes—- I have seen anywhere..
